Review and Swatches: Benefit Fine One One

Hi all! Hope my previous review on the Naked Palette was useful in any way and I'm gonna attempt my second review on swatch on this new favourite of mine - Benefit Fine One One.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Benefit cause I feel that many of their products are hits and misses. Some of their products that I love and worked for me are Coralista and They're Real Mascara and Watts Up. Well, one of their misses would be the Dandelion face powder, which was kinda meh to me.

When Benefit first introduced Fine One One, I saw myself always entering Sephora and Tangs, swatching them on my hands. I really wanted to get it but I just couldn't bear to spend them money. And yes! I finally own it now cause my boyfriend bought it for me (Thank you bi) during Valentines' and I used my 10% discount Sephora rewards that day. I've tried it and I love it!
Below are pictures of Benefit's Fine One One - Sheer Brightening Colour for Cheeks and Lips.
This product contains 3 colours - pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral.

Top: Natural Lighting, Bottom: With Flash
Top: Top-down - Soft coral, sheer watermelon and pink champagne
Bottom: Blended

Personally, I love the outcome of how the product looks once blended. It really does what it says - brightening and lifting. It doesn't come off cakey and it gives a really natural rosy glow which I love about it the most.

The texture of this product is creamy but turns into powder-like texture soon after! Just like Benefit's Watts Up if you own it. As much as it contains a highlight colour amongst the trio, if you are a huge highlighter fan like me, I feel that you would need to layer on another highlight on top of your cheekbones. When blended, it gives a nice glow, but you won't be able to see much of the highlight. Out of the 3 colours, sheer watermelon is the most pigmented and you get the most colour out of it amongst the 3.

I would say it gives me decent amount of wear when I head out, probably around 5-6 hours but I'm sure if you use a primer it would last longer than that :)

I really like how this product "stains" the cheeks instead of sitting on the skin making it looking cakey and the nice brightening effect that comes out from it. Apart from the price being slightly on the high side, I would really recommend this! It's a really good daily fuss free blush and lip product.

Here's a photo of how Benefit Fine One One looks when I use it with just a simple eye make up and matching natural lip tint! I used just one coat of it so it looks rather sheer. If you would like it to "pop" more, its absolutely fine to add on another layer of it and blend after!

Hope this review and the swatches have been helpful!

Till then, have a great day ahead!
